Sometimes a space is defined more by what cannot occur than by the things that can…or where things used to be (and no longer are)…I think one of the things I like most about Detroit is this: how everything is changing.  How the land and the people here are cutting away their own dead spaces and replacing them with beautiful works of shocking newness.
